IMPORTANT: According to the resolution approved by the International Board during IPhO2012 in Tallinn, Estonia, the procedures of the election of IPhO President will follow those of electing IPhO Secretary described in the Regulation to the Article #8 of the IPhO Statutes. The election will be held during IPhO2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Qualification of Candidates:
A candidate has to have been one of the following positions for the five years prior to the nomination:
(i)a member of the International Board for at least three of these years,
(ii)an observer or a member of the International Board, who has attended all these five IPhOs.
Deadline of Nomination:
All nominees will have to inform the IPhO Secretary, Prof. Ming-Juey Lin, by e-mail ( mjlin@phy.ntnu.edu.tw ) and send their curricula vitae by 31st March, 2013. The current President, Dr. Hans Jordens, has expressed his willingness to run for the re-election as the IPhO President of the next term.
